Public Schools

The TAP program is designed as part of the SEL curriculum to provide a focus on developing healthy habits, improving well-being, and managing anxiety and other mental health symptoms. It aligns with reading and writing common core standards and supports creative arts such as music and drawing. The curriculum can be implemented as part of the positive behavioral support in the multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) program.

Tier 1- classroom or school-wide curriculum; lessons are easily implemented in traditional classroom settings; supports social and emotional learning goals
Tier 2- lessons are designed for small groups of students to provide additional support with identified emotional and behavioral needs
Tier 3- lessons can efficiently address many emotional, behavioral, and social IEP goals as part of a social and emotional support curriculum. The TAP program is an essential curriculum for students with emotional disturbance. It provides an evidence-based method for improving mental health and well-being by developing healthy habits and engaging in meaningful activities that lead to internal mastery.
